Watershed restoration after fire is particularly critical to prevent or repair significant and long-term impacts to watershed health, water quality, and quantity. Low-tech, nature-based solutions require minimal equipment and can be hand-built in most cases. Over time, these solutions become a part of the natural landscape, making these solutions more sustainable and resilient compared to engineered alternatives.
